How to play Daily Holes
I walked the official how-to-play page shot by shot. There is no aim assist and no separate power slider. The whole swing is when you stop the meter. That is the part I would practice before I cared about the leaderboard.
Three steps on every shot
- Aim down the hole. Drag to look around. The homepage says you tap to aim.
- Stop the swing meter. A clean strike rolls much farther than a miss.
- Read the green. Gold ring counts as one putt, pale as two, anything else as three.
Scoring a hole
Each hole has a par. Your round is the nine-hole total. The card marks birdie, bogey, and hole-in-one. Crossing holes show a higher par because they add islands: two islands play as par 4, and the longest five-island hole plays as par 7. The how-to page says a crossing hole always displays one over the usual par.
Practice without touching today's card
Today's holes unlock for practice after you post the round. Free accounts get 3 practice tries a day, Club Starter gets 10, Pro gets unlimited. The range is 5 shots at 1000 points each. From 25 September 2026, practice can replay older nine-hole courses. Those old courses are not the daily competitive round.
Four ways the official page says to save strokes
- On a short hole, take a slightly softer clean line if you want the ace.
- Do not fly the flag if you can roll onto the green. Green rollout is 2.10.
- Rough keeps about 0.30 rollout, which the strategy page calls losing four fifths of the roll.
- A bunker cuts carry to 70 percent and caps it around 160 yards.

Questions I keep getting
Can I half-swing?
The strategy page says no. Club choice is the coarse setting and the meter is the fine setting.
